The Hearts In Mind Alignment Foundations, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization owned and operated by people of color that provides relevant and accessible psychoeducation and mental health resources to communities that are often underserved and/or overlooked by larger health systems.

It is our mission to serve as a culturally informed conduit for marginalized communities to receive quality mental health care access and education through groups, events, resources and support.

Meet Our Board
Our board members are not only honorary but also passionate about seeing the mission move forward on the behalf of those who's voices have been lost in the space of mental health education. Our board members are committed to being a resource to communities at large.
PAUL BASHEA WILLIAMS, LICSW-C, LCSW
CEO/President
Paul Bashea Williams is founder and owner of Hearts In Mind Counseling. He is an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Approved Clinical Supervisor. He has worked as a Licensed Social Worker for over 15 years providing therapy, coaching and mentoring. He provides psychotherapy and psychoeducation and coaching for individuals, couples, families, groups and corporations. He also offers and provides clinical supervision and peer consultation.Contracted with several entities, Mr. Williams has provided clinical support and therapy for over under resourced communities in Montgomery County, Maryland. He is certified in couples and family systems. He along with his wife, founded The Hearts In Mind Alignment Foundation, Inc. to provide relevant and accessible mental health education and resources to communities that are often overlooked by larger health systems. Mr. Williams attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee for both his undergrad and graduate studies in Social Work where he was awarded and inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Alumnus for community impact. He also founded the Paul Bashea Williams Scholarship Fund for African American and minority students who are seeking to obtain a degree in Social Work.
